OWH sketch 157 – hi

Hey there, it’s time for another OWH sketch! This is sketch 175 and I really like it. I’m using up all of those brads I never remember to use. 🙂

I used this really cool and really, really cheap new stamp I got from Unity Stamp Co.

My Mind’s Eye scraps
kraft  cardstock
Unity Stamp Co sentiment
brads from stash
I actually made 4, but one got smudged. 😦 Bummer! Anyhow, we are all recovering today from yesterday’s big ballet recital! Our 7 year old performed in two shows and had her hair and makeup professionally done for the first time.
Shoes not on yet. Oops!
I sprayed so much hairspray on her bangs I was shocked they moved.

You can see her huge tooth gap in this bottom photo. She just lost those two top teeth recently! 🙂

Thanks for visiting me today!

  1. You did a great job with your card! I think your daughter is a sweetie- love the missing teeth– she has such good character shining from her!!!! Thanks for sharing your card and the pix of your ballerina!

  2. I really like those papers with the Kraft! Also, I adore that photo of your daughter!!! Too sweet! I remember getting my makeup done at that age; after recitals we'd stop by the bowling alley for ice cream sundaes. Although I had to change out of my costume, I was allowed to keep my makeup on, and I was sure everyone there must think I was someone famous, lol. My twitter avatar is a b&w photo of at that age wearing a tutu.

  3. Your daughter is just precious, especially with the missing teeth. Remember those dance recital days (my dd is an adult now). Enjoy them! Great cards, sweet n simple. I really like that “hi” stamp. Going to have to see if they still have it! thanks for sharing. Tamara

  4. The star of this post is definitely your adorable daughter! I bet she had a fabulous day! The colors in your cards are so fun and perfect for this time of year. Thanks for sharing!

  5. I love Unity stamps! They often have some REALLY good sales on super cute stamps. Great job on the OWH sketch! (sorry if I repost…am having computer hiccups.)
