Okay, so today is a day when I didn’t have to ‘think cool,’ it actually WAS cooler (my kids went outside this morning and came in and asked for sweaters. Haven’t heard that in a while!). Still, I went with some winter cards today. 🙂
The mid-week throwdown over at the Stars & Stamps blog is a complimentary color challenge, so I tried to focus on the red and green. Oh, quick story first! I found this Basic Grey Jovial line last year and LOVED this snowman paper, and then during the Memorial Day OWH bloghop this year Basic Grey had those card kits for $5, right? Which I just had to have, and I happened to click over to their stamps and found THESE Jovial line stamps on sale for $4. Which just meant they needed to come to my house, so they did. And how FUN! It’s like paper doll dress up with stamps. 🙂
Thanks for visiting me today! 🙂

Ack…adorable! I am so glad these came to rest at your house 🙂
I'm crazy about snowmen (or snow-people) and this paper is darling. It looks like you had fun creating this classy-looking snowman! Thanks for the link to the stamp set.
Of course those papers had to go to your house. Anyone would know that. LOL I just love the glasses on the snowman. Great card, Jen.
Love it! I'm inspired to get out some of the cooler weather stamps/images and play!
Thanks for playing in our Operation Write Home Midweek Throwdown challenge!
Hi Jen,
What a wonderful holiday card for a little one to receive! I just love how your adorable snowman. And, the paper and ribbon are perfect complements.
Thanks so much for joining us in the Midweek Throwdown challenge!
I've never seen a snowman with glasses before. That's awesome! I like how you let the mittens and hat pop out of the rectangle a bit because it makes the snowman look dimensional.
Hee hee! That is so cute, Jen! I love the stamp…especially the glasses. The ribbon banners are really cute, too.
